Regional Cuisines of Turkey. Turkey is divided into seven regions.Every region has it’s own characteristic soil and climate. Therefore,all the different varities of products that are grown in every region effect the food culture within the region. As well as the distinctive variety of products, the customs and traditions of Anatolia, are the factors that create the basis of regional cuisines.

In the Turkish folk cuisine, every day dinners, ceremonial feasts, and various celebration dinners show how rich and varied this cuisine is. From time to time, there may similarities and differences among these regionsEven though from time to time there are similarities between these cusinies there are differences too.
