Described as the only standing historic site among the Seven Wonders of Antiquity, the 1500 years-old Mausoleum is located in Bodrum province. Built in the 4th century BC, this monument bears novelties in architectural style of its time.

Architecturally unique in its period, famous sculptors worked in the construction to build this mausoleum for Mausolus, the great governor of the region.
