The Neve Shalom Synagogue, the name of which means “Oasis of Peace,” was opened to worship with a grand ceremony in 1951. Located in the Karaköy district of Istanbul, the synagogue attracts the attention for its dome designed to carry a large and splendid chandelier, its leaded windows and overall architecture.
